I loved having the chance to photograph this new family right in their backyard. We kept things natural… no posing, no asking anyone to look at the camera… just playing with their baby and his sweet fur-brother.
This was a mini session and, as you can see, the family ended up with a ton of variety in a very short period of time (under 20 minutes). It’s a great reminder that you don’t need a long session to get beautiful storytelling images.
If you’re looking for baby photos in Victoria BC, I like to keep things simple and relaxed. You don’t need Pinterest-worthy props or elaborate setups… just your baby, your home or backyard, and the people (or pets) you love. Breaks are no problem if your baby is fussing or you need more time. Not sure if you like black and white or colour? You don’t have to choose… I give you both versions so you get two copies of every picture taken.
