Baby portraits on film in Victoria BC

A mother holds her blue-eyed baby boy in Beacon Hill Park during a family portrait session taken with analog 35mm film. The film used for this photo was the pastel Fuji 400h.

I’ve started to offer families the choice of film, digital or both. For this mommy and me session, we chose the nostalgia of film. For all it’s perfection, digital just cannot replicate the grain and softness of true analog film. I absolutely love how Fuji400h brought out the blues in this sweet baby’s eyes. Here are a few of my favourites from this portrait session at Beacon Hill Park. Interested in a film session with your little one? Get in touch and let’s make a play date!
