PKOLS (Mount Douglas) family portrait mini session – Victoria BC

Who says your family portrait session needs to be serious? When you have two boys it doesn’t take much to create some fun memories of the kids horsing around and having fun. A lot of people wonder how many photos they can get during a mini session. Have a look through this fun collection of fall portraits at beautiful PKOLS (formerly also known as Mount Douglas) in Victoria. I loved mom’s reaction: “Thank you so much for the beautiful pictures and memories 🙂 You captured our silly happy love.  I thought it was so funny when the kids showed up in sweat pants and not at all what I had planned lol.  You managed to make it work and I am grateful for these beautiful photos and memories.  Thank you so much 😉  It was a lot of fun and we can’t wait to do another session soon!”

I’m forever grateful to live, work and play as a visitor on the unceded territory of the W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples. In August 2022 Saanich Council approved a request from the W̱SÁNEĆ Leadership Council to move forward with a municipal park name restoration for PKOLS (Mount Douglas Park). This hill was a culturally significant gathering and meeting place of the SENĆOŦEN and Lekwungen peoples, a site for ceremonies and sharing important news.
