One model. One hour. Three films. First up in a new series I’m starting is a series of photos I created with the incredible Joey Roo at the Johnson Street Bridge in Victoria BC. Joey is a hair and makeup stylist by day and styled everything themself. As you can see from the photos, we had a lot of giggles. Which film is your favourite?
Revolog Echo 35mm – this is a special effects analog film that has little red squiggles already imprinted on the negative. When you over-expose you lose sight of the special effects, but it really pops when underexposed, especially with flash.

Next up is my favourite film stock, though it hasn’t been manufactured since 2023. This roll was expired and I used my medium format Pentax 645nii.

And last is a respooled motion picture stock made for daylight called Reflx 320d.
