I’ve been working more and more with analog film photography, offering people the choice of film, digital or a combination of both. Because there’s a certain romantic nostalgia that’s inherent with old-fashioned analog, I was so happy Lindsey and her family wanted to have their maternity portraits 100% on film. For this session I used two types of film stock: Kodak Portra 400 35mm and Fuji 400h 120mm, and I loved that the Victoria BC Government House backdrops and quality of light gave such a pastel feel to these photos without any editing! I also loved getting a chance to photograph a very sweet big-brother-to-be.
