For Deanna’s fashion editorial photography session, I was able to use both 35mm film (Kodak Portra 160) and digital. We spent about 20 or so minutes enjoying the spring flowers at the stunning Abkhazi Garden in Fairfield. Victoria has so many gardens, and Abkhazi never disappoints for a great backdrop. Deanna was an international fashion model for several years, and she is now a teacher here in Victoria (which means she mostly does fashion modeling locally), so we kept the session super easy-going, creating a few fun lifestyle and creative/artsy portfolio images for her book. I had a blast working with Deanna. If you’re ever in need of a model for a lifestyle, editorial, fashion or workshop, she’s your woman!
