Documentary family portraits in East Sooke Park

Seeing families get together after a few years apart is a special gift. And it’s extra special when a family asks for an adventure session because it means we get lots of time to do an activity together. This family chose to go on a little hike through East Sooke Park, ending up at a spectacular deserted beach for a picnic lunch. As they laughed and told stories, I moved around and caught all the laughter and teasing. I loved how connected this family felt towards each other – there’s nothing better than photographing love and I think this proves you can create great family memories even after all the kids have grown up!
