A tight-knit family unit has taken on its own new meaning in 2020 with our bubbles being so small these days. And that’s especially true for these cousins, who are also best friends. I’m often asked what to wear to your family portrait session. I love that this family chose outfits with very few patterns. When you’re picking out clothing for your portraits, it’s always a good idea to choose items that will be timeless. Anything too trendy will date your images quickly. And you also want to avoid bold patterns and logos since they will take away from your faces.
As you can see from this portrait session, we were able to get a lot of nice, traditional frame-worthy photos of everyone, and then we also had some time to horse around and have some fun.
