Karen & Brian’s Manchebo Beach, Aruba Wedding
I was pretty pumped to head down to Aruba for Karen & Brian’s sun-drenched wedding on a white sand beach at the Manchebo and not just because this island is known for it’s perfect turquoise Caribbean waters, easy breezes and near-perfect weather. Karen & Brian found me online since I advertise to photograph weddings on the islands and when we got in touch we found out we live very close (I’m in Victoria during summers and they are in Vancouver). That meant I had a chance to meet them in person and photograph an engagement session ahead of the wedding. This couple instantly makes you feel at ease. They are gracious and fun to be around so I couldn’t wait for October to come. The festivities started with a rehearsal lunch at the The West Deck Island Grill where I had a chance to meet their wedding party and families. The next day I had so much fun hanging out in Karen’s room with the girls. They experienced an amazing sunset during their ceremony at Machebo Beach (which has the widest stretch of sand in Aruba) and the reception in the Manchebo pavilion was super fun. All in all it was an awesome wedding in Aruba. Karen & Brian, a huge congratulations!
